You make me laugh! On our honeymoon in Ireland my husband had to get used to driving on the other side of the road ~ and I had white knuckles all the way. I was especially anxious while on the narrow and windy country roads (where others seemed to think they were on the Autobahn). As we approached the many little town along the way we would exclaim gleefully, "Dual Carriageway!" and he would beep the horn. :)

Only 200 dancers ~ sounds like heaven!!!! Are you going to the Lavin-Cassidy feis in Lake Geneva, WI on March 5th? Kind of a zoo but there are only so many we can drive to (we're in suburban Chicago). Oh, I'm still trying to get my daughter's Liffey Rivers' Halloween costume pic to you, it's not on my camera but on hers....anyway, glad you had a good time at the feis!

Your parenting skills must be better than mine were! My daughter got two firsts at her first feis and then two 6th place medals at the second one--she still denies throwing the hardware into a fountain close to us on the premises but they were never found after that feis....Later on she realized any medal was wonderful...

Great interview! I agree with you that the drama is a little intense at times. At my daughters' first feis, I was a little put off by pushy parents and crying children. I hate that level of competition. It takes the fun out of it for me. However, some seem to thrive off it. My children have never cried yet, but I could tell when they were disappointed.

I think they're perfectly awful!

I'm so excited to have found you (thanks for following me)! I can't tell you how excited my daughter is going to be to read your books. She loves to read (wants to be a writer)and loves all things Irish dance...the best of both!
